The main objectives of the SEZ Act are:
a) generation of additional economic activity
b) promotion of exports of goods and services
c) promotion of investment from domestic and foreign sources
d) creation of employment opportunities
e) development of infrastructure facilities”
Every person who is registered under SEZ has to file the following periodical forms:
The SEZ Unit or the Developer shall furnish to the jurisdictional Superintendent of Central Excise a quarterly statement, in Form A-3, furnishing the details of specified services received by it without payment of service tax – It has to be filed within 30 days from the end of the quarter for which the form is filed.
